Types of clients & what not to read

A (relatively) new site called Freelance Switch has got a great article – 12 Breeds of Client and How to Work with Them. Aimed at freelance designers, it covers pretty much every kind of client relationship I have ever seen – and there’s some good advice in there as well.

Next is a brilliant article called The Dan Brown code which highlights the writing style (or lack thereof) of the hit novelist. I enjoyed ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and ‘Angels and Demons’ for their ideas and story but always held that the quality of writing was appalling – this article highlights some specific cases excellently. I’ve only read one other book of Browns – ‘Digital Fortress’ and that was utter rubbish – clumsy writing and not even a good story to rescue it this time!
